The Manor Rose Windsor mattress is a fantastic handmade mattress in a medium to firmer feel that is ideal for bedsteads, the mattress features 1000 pocket springs and luxurious natural fillings, including bonded cotton and soft white fibre. The mattress is handmade in Lancashire by a family run business that manufactures, without compromise, hand crafted, quality mattresses.
SUPPORTIVE POCKET SPRINGS
The Manor Rose Windsor mattress features 1000 individually pocketed springs (based on a king-size mattress). Pocket springs work completely individually from each other which gives you a greater level of support, this is because the springs can adapt to the shape of your body with no friction against each other. This also means that you are less likely to disturb your partner if you move a lot in the night as this movement will not transfer across the bed.
PURE NATURAL FILLINGS
The Windsor mattress is upholstered with luxurious fibres that offer comfort and breath-ability. Cotton fibres offer softness and coolness; making cotton comfortable in hot weather. Cotton gives a soft feel and has an excellent ability to breathe to ensure you a healthy night’s sleep. Hessian is derived from the skin of the Jute plant and is used for insulating the mattress spring, helping airflow without affecting the free movement of the spring.
White
fibre is a synthetic upholstery which is a man-made substitute for the more
traditional style hair fillings, it has good resilience and is much more
cost-effective to produce than horse-hair, but does not have the same
responsiveness.
